The beautiful lake of Etang La Planchette is 8 acres in size & set in 20 acres of private land & nestled in a tranquil Valley of rural countryside set in the Lorraine region which is listed as an area of natural beauty.

Went fishing last week at Etang La Planchette. We can look back at a fantastic week for sure! Owner Paul & Teri are such great people, I can assure you your in good hands with them when it comes to a great fishing week! Paul is a great angler that loves to share information with you to make sure you will succeed at Etang La Planchette. But he will also let you make your own decisions. He takes good care of his fish & water. The facilities are good and clean. The food is great and all taken care of. Are you in for a good dose of humor and great stories? Then you should totally have a beer with these wonderful people!

Amazing facilities
Amazing facilities to use hot water excellent food. The swims are large and there is many of them. You can charge your electronic when ever you want.the fish are large and whilst I was fishing we caught a 18 and a 37lbs fish

What a beautiful setting for peace and tranquility, lovely people and great BBQs would highly recommend to anyway wishing to pursue their carp fishing whilst escape the huddle and bustle of life, fantastic break and definitely want to head back soon

Fantastic lake & surrounding, a wonderful place to fish. The fish are in great condition & there are a lot of lumps to go at. Had the food package, so glad we did, the food was really good. What a lake, i would defiantly recommend this place to anyone looking for an trip like no other is faultless, beautiful fish, well looked after, nice sizes.

I’m only 12yrs old & fished this lake with my family for the 1st time this year, the swims are very easy to get to, large & tidy with gravel on them.
Over a couple of days of night fishing I beat my personal best & caught a 47lb 8oz mirror ‘Toenails’ I also caught a 42lb 10oz & 18lb mirror, & a 21lb common.
There is a nice clean bathroom with Hot water to use when ever you need a hot shower, the bathrroom & toilet are very clean.
The Bailiff makes lovely hot meals…. I have been promised i will be able to return to fish this lake soon as i now can’t stop thinking about getting back there, I will be back for sure!
Lovely clean fishery
Lovely clean fishery, well maintained with some stunning carp to be had. Facilities are fantastic and don’t bother taking any food as the meals on site are awesome! Easy to get to, WiFi access, hot showers and being able to drive to your swim is a real luxury when you consider everything we haul around with us nowadays. With a progressive management plan this is a great carp fishery for all carp anglers and set in beautiful countryside abundant with wild life it has to be a 10/10 for me. Pom.
Lovely location and has all the facilities you could want or need
I had the pleasure of visiting the lake earlier in the year it’s in a lovely location and has all the facilities you could want or need. Lake and swims are well laid out challenging enough for the experienced angler, nice also to have the option to get a stalking rod out as well and go find them. I would defy anyone to go there and not enjoy it.
