ETANG LA PLANCHETTE

If you would prefer not to have the full food package then lighter options are available upon request.

Booking terms
PRICE: The price shown on the website at the time of the booking is guaranteed from the date we receive the deposit for the booking.

RESERVATION: In order to secure the reservation you will be required to pay the deposit within 10 days. The moment we receive your deposit a confirmation email will be sent confirming your reservation at Etang La Planchette.

PAYMENT: The balance payment will be required 6 weeks prior to the date of the your trip. If you book within 6 weeks of the date of your trip then you will be required to pay the full amount to secure the reservation. If the balance of payment has not been received then we reserve the right to cancel the booking, forfeit any deposit paid in accordance with our cancellation policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you decide to cancel your carp fishing to Etang La Planchette then you will be liable for a cancellation fee as follows:
a) 6 weeks or less to the date of your trip = full amount (deposit and full payment)
b) More than 6 weeks = deposit only

FOOD PACKAGES: The full amount for the food package as agreed is to be paid upon arrival in Euros. Meals not used will not be refunded in any circumstances.

INSURANCE: It is the responsibility of the person/s booking their trip to Etang La Planchette to obtain suitable insurance for the duration of their stay.

LIABILITIES: Etang La Planchette are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellation due to the following:
Fire, storm, flood, closure of ports, weather conditions, acts of God, riots, political unrest, industrial disputes, war or any other event or circumstance beyond our control
e.g. Carp Spawning, Not Feeding, Lake Frozen, Lake Flooded, Etc. During periods of high water some swims may be closed for fishing and if possible, other swims offered.

LAKE RULES: All persons booking with us agree to abide by the rules listed below. Any persons found to disobey these lake rules will be removed from the premises without question. This decision will be made by the Bailiff and/or the owners of Etang La Planchette.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE: In the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint regarding any aspect of your fishing trip then please use the contact form on the website and your email will be responded to within 5 working days.

Lake Rules

We pride ourselves in providing an excellent carp fishing environment for you and your fellow carp fishermen and therefore we insist on you respecting our Lake Rules:

Fish over 20kg/44lb photo’s have to be taken in the water.
Strictly fresh or frozen boilies only (no preserved baits, Tigernuts or peanuts allowed)
Landing nets, weigh slings and unhooking mats are provided. Please do not bring your own.
Carp sacks are not allowed
Please avoid using lead drop off systems where ever possible
Minimum 15lb mainline
Non removal of plants, trees and undergrowth is forbidden
Excessive drinking is not allowed
Barbless or microbarbed hooks only
Excessive noise is not allowed
3 rod max for adults / 2 rod max under 16
No lead cores are allowed
No braided main lines
No fires allowed on site
Bins at swims must be used for rubbish, fag ends etc!

Arrival and Departure times

Please arrive at Midday (earliest) on the day of your booking. Please respect that this allows us time to clean and prepare for your carp fishing holiday. When departing the lake please ensure that you leave by 10am.

Swim Choice

Upon arrival Paul will show you around the lake and point out some key features and be available for any questions, tips or advice regarding the lake. If you are fishing in a group then a draw will be made for the swims. In our experience we feel that this is the fairest way unless the group decide of their own method.
